Yumeshi, Kasumi and Mustang all appeared in the room, Mustang automatically landing onto a bed. Yumeshi hissed as the white bed sheets were stained scarlet.
"Get the medicines and the medical wrap!" Kasumi ordered Yumeshi and tore off part of her shirt and poured water on his wounds before patting down the cloth.
Kasumi took off the previous cloth and poured medicine on his wounds where they fizzled and steamed. She wrapped the wrap around his leg wounds and plastered bandages on his stomach wound.
Yumeshi, glad that he was safe, was still worried. "He'll live, won't he?" she asked anxiously. She still hadn't really accepted the passing of Kana, and if she lost her brother as well, then she didn't know what to do.
Kasumi looked at Yumeshi's troubled face and said surprisingly gently for the strict teacher she was, "We'll tell him about Kana when he'sable to walk around and able to take it, and hold the funeral for her."
"Don't know. He seems strong enough, and when Fuyushi can help it'll be... say, two months? Three? You can't be sure. But he'll certainly be conscious by a week, and able to walk in one and a half months. I'll not allow him to do much though, except sleep and eat." Kasumi talked as she dabbed some more medicine on his wounds and changed his bandages. She dribbled some water into his mouth.
Yumeshi nodded again, as Takupi, Haruki, Nana and Fuyushi appeared. Her eyes widened as she saw her friend. "What happened?" she asked, slightly shocked. "They're both OK, though, right?"
Haruki deposited Nana and Fuyushi left of Mustang and looked at Kasumi. "Can you take care of them for now? We've healed them, mostly, but they're still weak and Nana's semi-conscious. We need to check on the others." Kasumi nodded. "Good. Go. Probably to the Dark Alchemy classroom."
Kasumi sighed. "Right. Yumeshi, you can take care of Nana and Fuyushi. When Fuyushi's fit enough, he can help heal Mustang, though that'll take about two weeks. I'll be responsible for this guy here for now." She pointed at Mustang and checked him again.
Yumeshi nodded, and went to go check on her classmates. "They seem alright," she observed. "But I'll change their bandages." She quickly rolled out a roll of creamy white bandages and began to take off their old and yellowish ones.
Kasumi nodded. "Okay." She threw Yumeshi a bottle of brown liquid. "And feed them this. It's not elixir, but it'll lessen the pain while you're treating it."
Kasumi put Mustang into a deep sleep and went over to work on Fuyushi while Yumeshi helped Nana, knowing that Fuyushi was top priority because he was the only earth alchemist, therefore being the most effective healer.
Haruki was beside them, lifting ANakira in the air so that he wouldn't have to walk. Akinara slopped some medicine on her wounds and headed for the dooor. "Right, gotta look for the others!"
Haruki nodded. "His leg is pretty serious," she told Yumeshi. "He was shot by... Envy, I think it was, and it's infected. Stupid Sin purposely used a rusty bullet."
Yumeshi swiftly grabbed the bottle and lifted up Anakira's leg to stop the blood from flowing to the wound. "This might sting," she said, dripping the liquid onto the opening. The boy tensed slightly, but clearly he was in no mood to scream out loud. Perhaps that was a good thing...
Akinara came back into the room a moment later with Tsutoko who looked pretty much unharmed. "Hello, ladies. And gentlemen," he added, spotting Fuyushi and Anakira. Akinara rolled her eyes and went to Anakira's side, her olive eyes huge and concerned. "Are you okay?" She asked him, stroking his hair with a hand.
Anakira opened his eyes slightly to look at the girl. "Y-yea-" he started, breaking off and wincing as Yumeshi wrapped a bandage around his leg. "S-sorry!" she squeaked. "It'll hurt for a bit, but please bear with it!"
Akinara shot a glare at Yumeshi over her shoulder then turned back to Anakira. "Tell me if you can't bear it and I'll deck her, 'kay?" She said as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
Anakira sighed as Yumeshi finished up and backed away to sit at her brother's side. "It's fine," he said. "Don't worry." He raised up a hand to stroke her hair softly.
Kasumi finished work on Fuyushi, putting him to sleep for today and gave Nana the same treatment. Akinara looked into his black eyes, then leaned down and pressed her mouth to his.
Anakira held the girl close to him. "I'm glad you're safe," he murmured, looking into her eyes. Yumeshi looked down at her brother. His face was slowly gaining color, but she still felt uneasy gazing at him.
Akinara pulled away and smiled gently at him. "I told you that you were the only person I'd ever kiss... willingly." She gave him another peck. Kasumi finished and looked at Yumeshi. "Stop fretting. You'll get yourself sick. Now go heal yourself. I'll take care of the headmaster."
Anakira smiled. "Perfectly right. And if anyone else dares to touch you, I'll kill them." Yumeshi nodded and turned back to the cabinets, humming slightly.
"Don't go that far. I'm sure my brother can touch me, right?" Akinara gave him a look of chastisement and amusement, sitting on the bed next to him. Kasumi sighed, her face gaunt with weariness as she slumped back against the wall.
Anakira smiled. "Fine," he said. "But only him." Yumeshi looked over at the deputy headmistress and saw the bags that had formed under her eyes. "Rest," she said as gently as she could to not provoke the woman. "I'll take care of things if they come up."
Akinara laughed and put her arms around him as to not hurt him and pushed her lips to his again. Kasumi tensed, but nodded and instantly fell asleep in the hospital bed next to her.
Anakira held her tightly, running his hands down her back. He reached up to stroker her hair again. Yumeshi sat in the chair next to Mustang's bed, staring into space.
(haha i can't imagine anakira wrapping his legs around akinara)
Akinara realized that Yumeshi was staring and Kasumi was sleeping near them. She pulled away, sitting up, unravelling her legs from around Anakira. "Oh." A red wave washed into her cheeks. "Um. Yeah. I mean, no."
"I'm not kidding," Akinara told him forcefully. "Don't call me Aki." Only Fuyushi calls me that, she wanted to say, but didn't want him to be jealous. It was a brother-sister thing. "You can call me Nara, Ara, Kia, whatever, just not Aki."
Yumeshi shrugged. She didn't like questions like that. She looked at him. "How long do you think it will be before we can have normal classes again?" she asked.
"At least two weeks. At most, a month." Tsutoko told her, counting off his fingers. "Because all of us are either dead or injured." He broke off, Kana coming into his mind again. He brushed her away. "I- I wonder who's going to teach Basic Alchemy now."
Tsutoko shrugged. "I don't think so. The only people I know that can do spirit alchemy properly is Yurina and Mustang. Yuzuru Mustang," he clarified. "Well, and there was my teacher's great-aunt Asaniko, but I didn't really know her so that doesn't count."
Yumeshi nodded slightly, then her head shot up. "Did you see the flames that erupted outside of the school during the fight? Do you know where they were from?"
Tsutoko looked at her. "No, but I can guess. Yuzuru had gotten in touch with the spirit alchemy he didn't know he could do and extracted power from his father- something your body can do in desperate measures. He automatically used that power, sending flames out of the power as a self defense mechanism. He had no idea what he was doing or how he was doing it but he did it anyway because apparently it was better than what he did before." Tsutoko alchemized a bottle of water and drank from it, thirsty from his explanation.
Yumeshi was silent as she sorted out her thoughts. "That makes sense," she said after a while. "But even with that, he still lost...." Her face darkened. "Any longer and he would have....left."
Tsutoko nodded. "I'm glad the other Sins forced Lust to go," he said. "Otherwise he would have literally be sliced up. I bet she hates herself now, for not killing him sooner."
Yumeshi nodded. "I hope that it takes a long time for them to re-attack," she said. "Well, one of their members died, so I guess it will take some time for them to get over it...."
Tsutoko let out a bark of laughter. "Are you serious? They are the Sins, Yumeshi. They're not like us. They don't care. They aren't upset about Sloth. Especially Lust. I'll bet she's happy that somebody died."
"'Kay." He left and quickly returned with three trays of food, all containing things like ramen, congee, ongiri, miso soup, mochi, and green tea. "Help yourself," he said, and took two ongiri and a miso soup.
Tsutoko left Fuyushi a bowl of ramen, Nana some congee, Kasumi some ongiri, Akinara ramen, Anakira ongiri, and Yuzuru congee. He put the rest of the food in the middle of the room and bit into an ongiri.
Tsutoko was now the only one awake. He forced himself awake, in case something happened. He grabbed a tea and gulped it down, then another, then another. He hoped the caffeine would keep him awake. Tsutoko rushed away to go to the bathroom then came back, munching away at his ongiri.
Yumeshi, Kasumi and Mustang all appeared in the room, Mustang automatically landing onto a bed. Yumeshi hissed as the white bed sheets were stained scarlet.
ReplyDelete"Get the medicines and the medical wrap!" Kasumi ordered Yumeshi and tore off part of her shirt and poured water on his wounds before patting down the cloth.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi quickly followed the professor's orders, and came back with the materials. "Here," she said, handing them to the deputy headmistress.
ReplyDeleteKasumi took off the previous cloth and poured medicine on his wounds where they fizzled and steamed. She wrapped the wrap around his leg wounds and plastered bandages on his stomach wound.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi, glad that he was safe, was still worried. "He'll live, won't he?" she asked anxiously. She still hadn't really accepted the passing of Kana, and if she lost her brother as well, then she didn't know what to do.
ReplyDelete"Yes, probably," Kasumi told her. "Don't worry your pretty head, I won't be headmistress for ages yet." She continued healing the headmaster.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded slightly, wondering how her brother would think about Kana's death. The two had always been very close.
ReplyDeleteKasumi looked at Yumeshi's troubled face and said surprisingly gently for the strict teacher she was, "We'll tell him about Kana when he'sable to walk around and able to take it, and hold the funeral for her."
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded. "How long will that take though?"

ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded again, as Takupi, Haruki, Nana and Fuyushi appeared. Her eyes widened as she saw her friend. "What happened?" she asked, slightly shocked. "They're both OK, though, right?"
ReplyDelete(How bout the others?)
(they're... frolicking. no, lol. u'll see.)
ReplyDeleteHaruki deposited Nana and Fuyushi left of Mustang and looked at Kasumi. "Can you take care of them for now? We've healed them, mostly, but they're still weak and Nana's semi-conscious. We need to check on the others."
Kasumi nodded. "Good. Go. Probably to the Dark Alchemy classroom."
(o)
ReplyDelete(WE JUST WENT TO DA)
Takupi clapped a hand onto Haruki's shoulder. "Let's go to the elemental classroom!"
ReplyDelete"Yeah. Let's go." Haruki shrugged the teacher's palm off her and marched out of the classroom.
ReplyDeleteKasumi sighed. "Right. Yumeshi, you can take care of Nana and Fuyushi. When Fuyushi's fit enough, he can help heal Mustang, though that'll take about two weeks. I'll be responsible for this guy here for now." She pointed at Mustang and checked him again.

ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded. "Thanks," and she started to work.
ReplyDeleteKasumi poured two teaspoons of it into Mustang's mouth and then dabbed a translucent bluish liquid onto his wounds.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi quickly redressed the wounds, then looked over at Kasumi. "Is it OK to keep their broken limbs the way they are?" she asked.
ReplyDelete"No. Find a cast for Nana and Fuyushi, then get Nana a crutch. She'll heal fast, if she's strong. Only a month, I think, if her ankle's broken.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded and started to rummage around in the cabinets. "Cast, cast, cast," she muttered.
ReplyDeleteKasumi pointed to a tall cabinet on the far left. "It's in that one. Do you know how to make a cast? If you don't there's instructions."
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded, quickly scanning the 'how to make a cast' instructions. She began to work.
ReplyDelete(LOL so convenient XD)
ReplyDeleteKasumi put Mustang into a deep sleep and went over to work on Fuyushi while Yumeshi helped Nana, knowing that Fuyushi was top priority because he was the only earth alchemist, therefore being the most effective healer.
Yumeshi looked up. "Should I let the plaster of the cast dry by itself? Or dry it with alchemy?"
ReplyDelete"With alchemy. The faster the better," Kasumi replied swiftly, making a cast for Fuyushi's leg.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi looked up. "Akinara and Anakira are here!" she announced as the two stumbled through the doorway.
ReplyDeleteHaruki was beside them, lifting ANakira in the air so that he wouldn't have to walk. Akinara slopped some medicine on her wounds and headed for the dooor. "Right, gotta look for the others!"
ReplyDeleteYumeshi stared after her friend. "Be careful!" she called, and rushed over to Haruki and Anakira. "Anything serious?" she asked.
ReplyDeleteHaruki nodded. "His leg is pretty serious," she told Yumeshi. "He was shot by... Envy, I think it was, and it's infected. Stupid Sin purposely used a rusty bullet."
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded and looked over at Kasumi. "Where's the disinfectant?" she asked. "We should clean the wound immediately."
ReplyDeleteKasumi pointed to the transparent bottle next to Fuyushi. "There. Drip about five drops on it."
ReplyDeleteYumeshi swiftly grabbed the bottle and lifted up Anakira's leg to stop the blood from flowing to the wound. "This might sting," she said, dripping the liquid onto the opening. The boy tensed slightly, but clearly he was in no mood to scream out loud. Perhaps that was a good thing...

Anakira held her tightly, running his hands down her back. He reached up to stroker her hair again.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi sat in the chair next to Mustang's bed, staring into space.
Akinara pulled her fingers through his black hair, wrapping her legs around his waist as her tongue entered his mouth.
ReplyDeleteAnakira smirked before he did the same (only with his tongue, he did NOT wrap his legs around akinara). "You sure you wanna do this here?"
ReplyDelete(not THAT.)
(haha i can't imagine anakira wrapping his legs around akinara)
ReplyDeleteAkinara realized that Yumeshi was staring and Kasumi was sleeping near them. She pulled away, sitting up, unravelling her legs from around Anakira. "Oh." A red wave washed into her cheeks. "Um. Yeah. I mean, no."
Anakira smiled. "Thought so," he said, then reached up an arm to pat her. "That's my Aki!"
ReplyDelete(HA.)
Akinara gave him a warning look. "You do that again I'm taking back what I said about only kissing you."
ReplyDeleteAnakira smiled fondly. "No, you won't," he said, then looked around the room. "You should get some rest."
ReplyDelete"I'm not kidding," Akinara told him forcefully. "Don't call me Aki." Only Fuyushi calls me that, she wanted to say, but didn't want him to be jealous. It was a brother-sister thing. "You can call me Nara, Ara, Kia, whatever, just not Aki."
ReplyDelete(like shiina and taki...)
(:D)
ReplyDeleteAnakira sighed. "I'll think about it," he said. "But seriously, get some rest."
Akinara gave him another glare but rolled over and went to sleep next to Anakira.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi peered at all of the people in the room and sighed. This was going to be a long night for her....
ReplyDeleteTsutoko smirked in a corner. "Liking your lady, Anakira?" He called to the boy from his place next to Yumeshi.
ReplyDeleteAnakira flushed red in his sleepiness. "I-it's none of your business," he stuttered, looking at the teacher.
ReplyDeleteTsutoko laughed. "Guess not, but I still think it's funny. It reminds me of myself."
ReplyDeleteAnakira and Yumeshi both looked up at the teacher, strange looks on your face. "You had someone you...liked?" Yumeshi asked.
ReplyDelete(KANA O.o)
(YES >:D)
ReplyDeleteTsutoko paused, his face closing off. "Well. Doesn't everybody?" He said, avoiding the question.
Yumeshi looked downwards, having a pretty good idea of who he was thinking of. Anakira stared. "What?"
ReplyDelete(XD)
Tsutoko looked at Anakira, annoyed. "What do you mean, what?"
ReplyDeleteAnakira shook his head. "Whatever," he mumbled, staring down at his bedsheets.
ReplyDeleteTsutoko sighed and leaned his head back, trying not to think about Kana too much. He tried not to cry. He hoped it worked.
ReplyDeleteAnakira closed his eyes and tried to sleep, but couldn't stop himself from opening his eyes to stare at Akirnara.
ReplyDelete(haha akirnara)
ReplyDeleteAkinara murmured something about water and Envy and Anakira, rolling over and draping her arm over the boy next to her.
Anakira finally willed his eyes to shut, and sleep slowly took him to dreamland...
ReplyDeleteTsutoko looked over at Yumeshi, kind of bored. "Sup?" he asked her, just to make conversation.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi shrugged. She didn't like questions like that. She looked at him. "How long do you think it will be before we can have normal classes again?" she asked.
ReplyDelete"At least two weeks. At most, a month." Tsutoko told her, counting off his fingers. "Because all of us are either dead or injured." He broke off, Kana coming into his mind again. He brushed her away. "I- I wonder who's going to teach Basic Alchemy now."
ReplyDelete(we need to make a new teacher for that now...)
(yea. I WISH SOMEONE ELSE WOULD JOIN.)
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded slightly, the death of her sister finally weighing her down like a weight. (...) She bit her lip and looked downwards.
(I KNOW.)
ReplyDeleteTsutoko sighed. "I'm sorry about Kana. You know... I loved her too." He looked up at the ceiling, wondering whether she was watching them right now.
Yumeshi looked up, guessing what he was thinking. (again?) "I'm sure she's watching over us," she said. "She always had and will."
ReplyDelete(LOL PHYSIC!!!)
ReplyDeleteTsutoko gave Yumeshi a sideways glance. "Yeah? I hope so." He paused. "You didn't somehow pick up spirit alchemy, did you?"
Yumeshi looked at him, shaking her head. "No," she said. "But can you do that?"
ReplyDelete(LIKE MUSTANG DID :OOOO)
Tsutoko shrugged. "I don't think so. The only people I know that can do spirit alchemy properly is Yurina and Mustang. Yuzuru Mustang," he clarified. "Well, and there was my teacher's great-aunt Asaniko, but I didn't really know her so that doesn't count."

ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded. "But they might come back..."
ReplyDelete"Of course they will. That's why we have to heal and train to be better than them before they attack again." Tsutoko told her grimly.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi nodded. "I hope that it takes a long time for them to re-attack," she said. "Well, one of their members died, so I guess it will take some time for them to get over it...."
ReplyDeleteTsutoko let out a bark of laughter. "Are you serious? They are the Sins, Yumeshi. They're not like us. They don't care. They aren't upset about Sloth. Especially Lust. I'll bet she's happy that somebody died."
ReplyDeleteYumeshi looked downwards. "Whatever," she muttered, and leaned onto Mustang's bed, looking up at the ceiling.
ReplyDelete"Hey, don't hurt him," Tsutoko cautioned, standing up. "You're staying here, right? I'll go get some food from everybody. What do you want?"
ReplyDeleteYumeshi shrugged. "Don't care," she said, "Get what you want."
ReplyDelete"'Kay." He left and quickly returned with three trays of food, all containing things like ramen, congee, ongiri, miso soup, mochi, and green tea. "Help yourself," he said, and took two ongiri and a miso soup.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi took a cup of green tea and took a long sip, swallowing quickly. She leaned backwards and sighed.
ReplyDeleteTsutoko left Fuyushi a bowl of ramen, Nana some congee, Kasumi some ongiri, Akinara ramen, Anakira ongiri, and Yuzuru congee. He put the rest of the food in the middle of the room and bit into an ongiri.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi set her tea down and looked out the window. The moon was shining dully, like a broken diamond.
ReplyDelete(a broken diamond?)
ReplyDeleteTsutoko finished one ongiri and took several gulps of his soup before starting on his second one.
(idk.)
ReplyDeleteYumeshi sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. It couldn't hurt...
Tsutoko was now the only one awake. He forced himself awake, in case something happened. He grabbed a tea and gulped it down, then another, then another. He hoped the caffeine would keep him awake. Tsutoko rushed away to go to the bathroom then came back, munching away at his ongiri.
ReplyDeleteThe room was silent with the eeriness of, well, quietness.
ReplyDeleteTsutoko continued to eat.
