Callie's Coffee

A nice, cozy little coffee shop just around town. There are plenty of foods and drinks to choose from. The service is nice, too, with very comfortable seats.

  1. Nana walked in and saw Fuyushi in the corner. She walked over to him and sat down. She was wearing a white tank top with short jeans and a gray base ball cap.

  2. Fuyushi tried not to stare at her too much as he smiled in greeting. "Morning," he grinned, shifting in his seat. He wasn't wearing his regular headband, and though his hair was still thick and shaggy it seemed to be tidier and cleaner than usual. He was wearing a tight fitting white and green t-shirt and black denim jeans.

  3. Nana nodded at him. She then took out some books. "Here's some info," she said.

  4. Fuyushi nodded and took one. "Let's get some food first, though, so we can relax and work." He ignored the minor self-contradictive bit in that sentence, and waved a waiter over. "You like coffee or tea?" He asked Nana.

  5. Nana thought for a moment. "One cup of chrysanthemum tea, please," she said to the waiter. "Hot." She turned to Fuyushi.

  6. Fuyushi grinned at her, then looked up at the waiter. "Earl Gray tea latte, and some biscotti, please," he told him. The waiter nodded curtly, then smiled charmingly at Nana. "Your food will be here quickly," he informed the two, winked suggestively at Nana, and walked to place the order. Fuyushi raised an eyebrow and glared distastefully at the retreating form of the waiter.

  7. Nana looked away, irritated. Then she looked at Fuyushi. She handed him a small sticky note pad. "Write bullet points on these."

  8. Fuyushi rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever, no need to be so commanding," he grumbled as he took the pad and opened a textbook.

  9. Nana sighed inwardly and started to write as well.

  10. A little while later, two steaming cups of tea were placed on the table by the waiter. A plate of biscotti were put in the middle. "Enjoy," the waiter grinned at Nana suavely, and walked away. Fuyushi restrained himself from making his eardrums explode.

  11. Nana glanced cooly back at the waiter. "Flirting creep," she muttered, and picked up her tea.

  12. Fuyushi hissed under his breath and said a couple of swear words. "****ing ****tard son of a ***** with an ********* bigger than a mother****ing *****," he growled.

  13. Nana, having very acute hearing, overheard his rant. She looked up at him. "What?"

    ReplyDelete
  14. Fuyushi smiled innocently at her, having ranted away his anger. "Oh, nothing," he said casually. "How's your tea?"

    ReplyDelete
  15. Fuyushi nodded, sipping at his tea latte. "Good." He continued taking notes in silence.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Nana looked up at him after a while, observing his green eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Fuyushi felt her gaze on him and resisted a grin, instead concentrating on his work.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nana continued to look at him, slightly distracted from her work.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Fuyushi now felt a little self-concsious, and looked up. "What?" He smiled awkwardly. "Do I have something on my face?"

    ReplyDelete
  20. Fuyushi grinned. "Good. You don't either." He paused. "Sorry, that was random."

    ReplyDelete
  21. Nana looked down, suddenly conscious of her clothing.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fuyushi stared at her for a while longer, then seeming to read her thoughts, smiled softly. "You look... good today," he complimented her awkwardly.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Nana looked up, slightly embarrassed. "So...so...do...you....." her voice was barely audible.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Fuyushi grinned. "Thanks," he smiled, feeling proud of himself.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Nana looked back at her book. "I guess we should start studying," she said.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Fuyushi nodded in agreement, but couldn't resist a "I was already reading, you were just staring at me."

    ReplyDelete
  27. Nana scrunched up her eyes in embarrassment. "Shut up," she said fondly, and went back to her reading.

    ReplyDelete
  28. (fondly?)

Fuyushi grinned and continued studying. After a while, he looked up and had more of his tea latte. "So what did you find out? Here's my notes," he passed over pages of notes on his notebook.

  29. (:D)

Nana handed him her notes and began to read his. She studied his handwriting very carefully.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Fuyushi read her notes, admiring her small, neat handwriting. He nodded. "Good. Informative, precise, yet not extraneous in terms of words."

    ReplyDelete
  31. Nana nodded. "I could say the same about your notes," she said.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Fuyushi grinned again. "Thanks," he smiled. "So I think we should begin our actual planning of the project poster thing," he suggested, eating a biscotti.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Nana nodded and pulled out another piece of paper. "We could plan it out on this," she said.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Fuyushi nodded, finishing his biscotti. "Hey, you want one?" He asked Nana, taking out his own paper.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Nana nodded quietly and took one, biting into its hard surface.

    (VAMPIRE MUAHAHAHAHAHHA)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Fuyushi grinned (again) and took another one.

    (lol XD)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fuyushi thought for a second, then drew out the "poster" on the paper. "Right, we need to know what we want on the poster, and where they should be on the space we have. After that, we can go get the materials and begin."

    ReplyDelete
  38. Nana nodded. She drew a quick title in bubble letters on the top. "How should we lay it out?"

    ReplyDelete
  39. Fuyushi paused for a while, then took his pen and made five large, square boxes on the poster, then at the bottom made a longer, flatter rectangular box at the bottom. "That way we have six sections," he explained. "So what should they be? I think there should definitely be an 'Origins of Water Alchemy' section," he told her, writing it down on a separate piece of paper.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nana nodded. "And famous water alchemists....and alchemic circles....and...."

    ReplyDelete
  41. Fuyushi wrote all of them out. "Modern water alchemy and its relation with other elemental alchemy..."

    ReplyDelete
  42. Nana nodded. When they finished, Nana sat back and sighed. "Do you want to start now? Or later?"

    ReplyDelete
  43. Fuyushi sat back too. "We should take a little break," he told his partner. "We've been working for three and a half hours straight.

    ReplyDelete
  44. (parter ;))

Nana nodded and took a sip of her tea. She looked out at the scenery.

    ReplyDelete
  45. (lol. and u spelled it wrong. ha XD)

Fuyushi finished his tea latte, and leaned back, finding himself staring at Nana's face and her... er... parts revealed by her tank top and denim shorts.

    ReplyDelete
  46. (:D what parts)

Nana looked at Fuyushi as well. "What?" she said.

    ReplyDelete
  47. (lol pervie parts)

Fuyushi quickly looked away, his face flushing slightly. "Nothing," he muttered.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Nana looked at him strangely, wondering what he was thinking about.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Fuyushi sighed and stared out the window, wondering what it would be like to like somebody as someone more than friends. He watched a couple kissing in another restaurant and made a face, directing his attention to a random pigeon squawking angrily at another pigeon.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Nana looked back at the table, thinking about lips.

    (XDDDDDD)

    ReplyDelete
  51. (lol)

Fuyushi sighed and turned back to Nana. "So how's life?" He asked vaguely, not sure what to say.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Fuyushi looked to the heavens. "Please answer me."

    ReplyDelete
  53. Fuyushi let out a bark of laughter. (DOGS!!!! LOL) "Yeah, same here," he smiled at her, leaning back in his seat again.

    ReplyDelete
  54. (XD ima make a moment.)

Suddenly Nana stood up and placed her palms on the table. "Fuyoshi!" she cried. "Will...will you accept my feelings?"

    ReplyDelete
  55. (Omg. Big moment XD)
    (Dude. It's Fuyushi.)

Fuyushi looked a little startled. "Uh... and what might those feelings be?" He asked cautiously, looking genuinely scared.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Nana was turning scarlet by the seconds. "I.....I......" her voice trailed away.. "like.........you....."

    ReplyDelete
  57. Fuyushi stared, then stood up, and walked around to her side of the table and gazed down at her. "Really?" He asked, a smile pulling at his lips.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Nana looked away, turning red. There was an awkward silence.

    ReplyDelete
  59. (AWKWARD!!!)

Fuyushi grinned. "You do, Nana?" He had to know.

    (Inquisitive boy...)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Nana looked at him straight in the eye. Then she suddenly lunged forward and forced her mouth onto his lips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. (***EXCLAMATION MARK OVERLOAD***)

Fuyushi, startled, was forced back but he put his arms around her. He pulled away, his face equally red. "Uh, I take that as a yes?" He smirked at her.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Nana scrunched up her eyes in embarrassment and looked away.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Fuyushi smiled. He looked at his watch. "We've been out for four hours, we should go back," he said softly.

    (I feel mushy.... :/)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Fuyushi smiled and finally let go of her, walking back over to his side of the table, taking his stuff. He went back over to her side, extending his hand to help her up. Just then, the waiter came. "Are you two ready to leave?" He asked.
Fuyushi looked at the waiter. "Yes," he said curtly. "How much will that be?"
"Well, originally it was 75 dollars, but I'll make it 50 for the pretty lady there," the waiter smirked at Nana.
Fuyushi looked ready to explode. "It's quite alright, mister," he growled dangerously. He forced 75 dollars into his hand. Great, now he was about broke.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Nana quickly padded up to the waiter and kneed him swiftly in the groin. She turned to Fuyushi. "Let's go."

    ReplyDelete
  66. Fuyushi smirked over his shoulder at the writhing waiter, put an arm around Nana's waist, and pulled them both out the door.
