Hanashi looked up at the class, then suddenly grinned. "OK, class," he said. "Today we will study the basics of chemical alchemy!!!" He whipped out Nana, Akinara, Fuyushi, Anakira and Yumeshi finger puppets. Then he took out five book puppets on his other hand. He make it so that it looked like the puppets were reading the books. "Everyone start to read on page one!"
Fuyushi's mouth fell open at the finger puppets, the snorted and held back a round of uncontrolled laughter. Akinara giggled, but opened her book and began to read.
Fuyushi stared. "Um. The periodic table for poisons, like arsenic and carbon tetrachloride." He smiled a little bit at the last one. Carbon tet was his favorite poison.
Hanashi nodded. "Anyone else?" Yumeshi raised her hand. "Erm, chemical alchemy is slightly different than other kinds of alchemy because it lets people create different things than regular alchemy." Hanashi nodded again. "OK, so, now that we've read about it, let's try it!!!" He switched his book finger puppets with test tube puppets and made the student puppets perform scientific experiments. "Everyone choose a chemical from these," he said, pointing to the test tubes that has suddenly appeared on his desk.
Suddenly, a short girl with black pigtails stumbled in the room. "Um, sorry, professor, I just arrived yesterday, so l don't know the school very well, and I kinda got lost." She blushed furiously at the teacher. She looked around at the chemicals. Her eyes widened. "No way, is that Botulinum? THE most deadly poison in the world?"
Hanashi nodded, a grin spreading on his face. He looked down at his hands. "I don't have enough room for your puppet," he muttered sadly. "Oh, well," he said, sitting down. "Choose a potion then!" he said to the smaller girl. "Erm, but first, would you like to introduce yourself?"
The girl looked a little surprised. "Oh, right, sorry," she stuttered. She turned to the class. "Um, hi! I'm Haruki Tashimura, 15 years old, and my alchemy is all chemical alchemy. My favorite thing is poison." Haruki finished and did a little curtsy. Akinara smiled and waved at her, and Fuyushi gave her a suggestive wink. Haruki blushed more, but turned at looked at Hanashi. "Can I collect a sample of the Botulinum? I'd really like to try it on the test rat." She smiled at the class. "Did you know that if you even have a nanoliter of it, the nervous system completely shuts down and you die in excruciating pain?" Haruki's eyes were shining with excitement.
Hanashi nodded slowly, quickly whipping out equipment and sewed up a puppet of Haruki. He grinned and waved it around. "OK, see me after class. Did you all choose a chemical yet?" Nana had chosen mercury, and Yumeshi tungsten. After much thought, Anakira had chosen silicon. They all looked up at the strange teacher. Hanashi quickly whipped out finger puppets of the different substances and looked over expectantly at the other three students.
Hanashi looked at the class. "OK!" he said, putting down his puppets. "I want everyone to draw out an alchemic circle now, on the desk with PENCIL. When you're done, look up!" Nana, Yumeshi and Anakira all whipped out pencils. They began to sketch the circles onto the desks gingerly. (XD)
Hanashi looked at the eager students. "OK! Now we will try to break down the chemicals further than their current state! This is just a basic practice, because some of you might find it difficult. Now, ALCHEMIZE!!!!" Hanashi made his puppet of himself clap its hands together and split the puppet mercury into subatomic particle puppets.
Haruki stared down at the ricin, then closed her eyes. Suddenly, they flew open and she clapped her hands together. Suddenly, the single tube of ricin was layered into different chemicals, five of the main ones. She took out four more test tubes and put the other four layers into them.
Fuyushi stared down at his acetic acid. This may be a little difficult. He clapped his hands together and the acid became three different, separated chemicals. Well, less than he should have done, but it was better than he expected.
Akinara succedded in this task, almost as well as Haruki, because she was a water alchemist, therefore she was also talented at moving around the liquid particles of her arsenic.
Nana split her mercury quickly into subatomic particles, just like Hanashi did with the puppets.
Anakira stared at his substance for a while. Then he quickly split it into two components. Both of them hardened after being exposed to the air.
Yumeshi did the same, a little less successful.
Hanashi looked up, seeing the student's success. "OK! Now you need to write a report on the process of separation. There is only five minutes left, so you may begin and have free time until class ends."
After five minutes, Hanashi looked up again. "OK! Class is dismissed!" Nana walked up to Haruki "Want to walk with us?" Yumeshi stood next to her. Anakira walked over to Fuyushi and the two left.
Takupi stalked into his room. "My, my," he said, looking around. "This place is a mess!" He abruptly started to clean up the room, getting rid of all the rubble and repairing desks, chairs and test tubes.
Fuyushi and Akinara walked into class with Nana, Anakira, and Yumeshi.
ReplyDeleteNana sat down next to Yumeshi, and Anakira sat down next to Fuyushi.
ReplyDeleteAkinara looked up at Hanashi, waiting for the class to begin. Fuyushi stared at Nana. (LOL XD)

ReplyDeleteHanashi grinned at his class and sat back down to wait for them. While he waited, he RP'd with his little creations.
ReplyDelete(XD)
Akinara finally finished reading, and Fuyushi looked up as well.
ReplyDeleteAfter everyone had finished reading, Hanashi finished with his RPing and looked up. "OK!" he said cheerfully. "Can anyone tell me what they learned?"
ReplyDeleteFuyushi stared. "Um. The periodic table for poisons, like arsenic and carbon tetrachloride." He smiled a little bit at the last one. Carbon tet was his favorite poison.

ReplyDeleteFuyushi sketched an alchemy circle on his desk with a 3B pencil. Akinara did the same. Haruki used her favorite "I <3 POISON" pencil.
ReplyDeleteAfter a while, Nana looked up, a neat circle on the desk next to the test tube. Anakira looked up a few seconds later, and Yumeshi did as well.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi, Akinara, and Haruki finished.
ReplyDeleteHanashi looked at the eager students. "OK! Now we will try to break down the chemicals further than their current state! Haruki frowned at the amount of time left, but got up and went over to Hanashi. "Professor, is it possible I collect the sample of the botulinum now?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara, not wanting to waste time, began writing, and so did Fuyushi.
Hanashi nodded and procured another vial. "Here," he said, handing it to her.
ReplyDeleteNana began to write furiously, Yumeshi did as well, but at a slower pace. Anakira calmly began to write.
Haruki nodded her thanks, and went back to her desk.
ReplyDeleteAfter five minutes, Hanashi looked up again. "OK! Class is dismissed!" Nana walked up to Haruki "Want to walk with us?" Yumeshi stood next to her. Anakira walked over to Fuyushi and the two left.
ReplyDeleteHaruki nodded silently and followed them out of the room. Fuyushi went with Anakira to SOUND, LIGHT, AND GRAVITY alchemy.
ReplyDeleteTakupi stalked into his room. "My, my," he said, looking around. "This place is a mess!" He abruptly started to clean up the room, getting rid of all the rubble and repairing desks, chairs and test tubes.
