This is where students learn alchemy based and derived from the five elements: Fire, water, air, earth, and spirit. This class is taught by Kasumi Yurina, who is also the deputy headmistress of the school.
Yurina glanced at her. Akinara walked into the classroom moments after, sitting in the front row. Yurina looked at her class. "Is that it?" She asked, surprised. "I suppose so." She opened her teacher's textbook to a beginning of a section. "Turn to page 53 of your textbooks- The Water Element: Easy to Learn, Hard to Master."
Yurina finally looked up from her desk. "Nana, late. Detention on saturday, 3pm-5pm. Now, please read pages 53-55 and take notes. I will stop you in 30 minutes."
Yurina spoke up. "Stop. Your time is up. As this is the first lesson of the year, we will not be doing actual alchemy. However, I'd like you all to come up to the board and write one essential thing about Water Alchemy. Yumeshi, you're up."
Yumeshi walked up to the board, slightly scared. She wrote, "Water alchemy is quite easy to accomplish, since H2O is present in most situations, however, it is very hard to control, as in most predicaments, the amount of H2O is exceeding the actual needed amount."
Nana walked up to the board. "Water alchemy is very hard to control, because most users need total self discipline, which is very hard to accomplish. Only the most successful alchemists have succeeded in this type of alchemy."
"Only the first sentence is necessary." Yurina's expression showed nothing. "Natsuko."
Akinara walked to the board, and wrote: "Water alchemy requires total concentration and determination, as water is a very independent aspect of nature, therefore making it harder to control."
Yurina nodded. "Yoshimizu and Natsuko have pointed out the essential factors of water alchemy. Sanjo was close. When we start doing water alchemy, what we need to focus on is CONTROL. Control the water, concentrate, overpower it."
Yurina looked at Yuzuru. "Of course, Headmaster," she said, then turned back to the class. "Just to check if you were listening- Sanjo, what did I say was key to Water Alchemy?"
Yurina looked at her watch. "We have 30 minutes left. Natsuko! What do you think is the connection between water alchemy and the other elemental alchemy's?"
Akinara, startled, looked up. "Er... they're all elemental alchemy? And... they all require extreme concentration?"
"The second part was correct! Because Elements are the core, the being of our world, they are very, very powerful. It can bend thought, force, and time. Elements are what make our Earth what it is. Because of this, they are hard to control and master, especially the more major ones like spirit, water, and air." Yurina looked around at the class. "Got it?"
"Right! I'll give you the last 20 minutes to work on your homework- A 1000 word report on Water Alchemy, then another at least 800 word essay on which element do you think is the easiest to master." Yurina looked at them. "You may begin!"
Akinara began planning out her essay and reports, then begin writing her report.
Yurina walked over to where Yuzuru was. "Hello, Yuzuru. What did you think?"
Yuzuru opened his eyes. "Maybe we shouldn't be so much like a military academy. We should be...well, more kindly. There will be no more students if we force the facts into them."
"I did not force facts into them, Professor. I merely told them, straightforward, the truth. Do you want me to lie, Headmaster? Besides, I cannot help who I am," Kasumi reasoned, keeping her voice and masking her annoyance.
Kasumi nodded, then faced the class. "Class is over, people. You may leave. Remember, Yoshimizu, detention on saturday. Put it in your notebook or planner."
Kasumi sat back in her seat, leaning back with her legs on her desk, reading a book called "Blood Bath". She waited for her class to begin.
Akinara was already there, sitting in the second row with Nana and Yumeshi. Fuyushi arrived five minutes later with Anakira. He looked at the three girls, his gaze lingering on Nana for a moment longer. He glanced back at Anakira. He pointed to each of the three girls, "Akinara Natsuko, my sister. Water, fire and air alchemist. Yumeshi Sanjo, light alchemist. Nana Yoshimizu, sound alchemist. Plays the violin."
Fuyushi sat next to Nana, and Anakira sat down next to him. They were in a straight line, facing Kasumi. Yurina raised an eyebrow at their unusual behavior, then stood up, pacing around in front of the camp as she spoke. "Today we will be continuing our unit in Water Alchemy. We will actually be doing water alchemy today. But first, I'd like all of you to first say something that you already know about it, may it be from the last lesson or from another experience. I will say one first: Water Alchemy is achievable by all alchemists as it is part of Elemental Alchemy, but some alchemists specialize in particular types." She stared straight at Yumeshi, sitting at the end. "You may continue, Sanjo.."
Sanjo looked away uncomfortably. "Erm, some elements are easier to use than other, because, for example, water is always present but fire, however, is not.
Yurina narrowed her eyes. "Water may be easy to use, but it is hard to control. Natsuko, Akinara!" Akinara looked up at Yurina. "Uh... um, Water Alchemy require extreme control, as water is one of the more powerful of the elements." Yurina turned her amber gaze on the stammering girl. "Correct, but the elements are generally equally powerful. Yoshimizu!"
Yurina looked annoyed. "Didn't I just say that they were generally all equal?" She snapped. Fuyushi flinched at her sharp tone, even though it wasn't directed at him. "And it was incorrect. Spirit, air and water are the three slightly more powerful ones."
Yurina sighed and turned to Fuyushi. "Natsuko!" She barked. "And don't get it wrong."
Fuyushi thought for a second, then replied, "Uh, water alchemy is closely related to air alchemy as there is water in air." Yurina nodded. "That was the only correct one from all of you so far," she accused, staring at them. "Hagimura. I hope you aren't like the other girls too."
Anakira nodded, not wanting to anger the teacher. "Er....When spirit alchemy is combined with water alchemy, it turns the water into a terrifying figure that many alchemists fear. Usually, that figure is called a watermagius."
Yurina nodded. "Correct, and how do you control that creature?" She wondered how much Anakira knew. She wondered if he knew she did something with that creature that she regretted forever. But of course he didn't. Only spirit alchemists would have the slightest idea... and there aren't many in the world.
Yurina glared an icy glare. So he wasn't that smart. "Spirit alchemy affects the personality, thoughts and actions of the figure, but the water alchemy affects the strength, health, and agility of the creature." Fuyushi smirked at Anakira. So now he experienced the anger of his scariest teacher.
Yurina somehow had a whip in her hand. She whipped the floor, and it made a loud "CRACK". The entire class jumped. She pointed to two silver bowls, one with clear water filling it halfway. "Yoshimizu! Get up here, and show us some water alchemy. Transfer the water to the other bowl."
Nana, slightly startled, got up and walked over to the two bowls. She quickly drew an alchemy circle on her hand and clapped her hands together. She pointed at the bowl with water, and the water floated up into the other bowl.
Yurina made a face. "You did not get all the water into the bowl. More control next time. Akinara Natsuko!" Akinara gave Yumeshi a sympathetic glance before performing it perfectly. Water alchemy was her best subject. Yurina nodded. "Good. Sit down. Fuyushi Natsuko!" Fuyushi strolled confidently to the table, and moved it over, spilling some of it as he went. The professor narrowed her eyes. "Overconfidence can lead to carelessness, which leads to underachievement. Hagimura!"
Yurina nodded. "Alright, sit down. Open your textbooks to page 57 of your textbooks. There is a quiz on water alchemy. Do that, and when you are done raise your hand."
Nana glanced at the answers and then back at her paper. "10 out of 10," she said. Yumeshi and Anakira did the same, Anakira receiving 10 out of 10 and Yumeshi receiving 9 out of 10.
Fuyushi received 10 out of 10, and Akinara received 10 out of 10. Yurina frowned, but walked forward, grabbed Akinara's shoulders and pulled her towards Anakira. She pushed Fuyushi towards Nana. "Yumeshi can work alone. We will be making a poster on water alchemy, according to what you have learned so far. I have assign your partners. You have a week to work on this, it is due by next monday."
Akinara gave him a look. "We're doing it on water alchemy, so OBVIOUSLY we should have the origins, the facts, famous alchemists, modern water alchemy, pictures, diagrams, and other information on water alchemy."
Fuyushi felt a little guilty. "I didn't mean it that way, just..." he didn't know what to say. Instead, he decided to use her words against her. "What, you actually wanted to be with me? I thought you didn't like me."
Fuyushi leaned on Nana for a moment, then opened his textbook. "So what should we choose to put on the poster? I was thinking little sections for different subjects."
Fuyushi nodded, breaking the stare. "Okay. So let's think about what sections we need. We need the basics, obviously, diagrams, famous alchemists, and so on. Any ideas?"
Akinara agreed. "We should to the section for topic thing. Let's start brainstorming for what topics there should be."
Fuyushi nodded, writing it down as well. "We should do research on that for now, even if we still have other ideas."
Akinara looked over his shoulder. "What about famous alchemists and diagrams? Perhaps we could have a 'water alchemy today' and a 'the history of water alchemy' section."
Akinara nodded her agreement just as Yurina looked up from her book. "Class is over, people!" She announced, standing up. "You may leave now."
Fuyushi stood up with Nana. When she got out of her seat to go, he grabbed her elbow. "Uh, hey. Do you want to go to Callie's Coffee with me on saturday? So we can study for the poster project thing?"
Fuyushi grinned at Nana and sat down beside her, motioning for Anakira to sit next to him. Akinara smiled shyly at Anakira and sat next to Yumeshi and Nana. Yurina nodded at the class then got up. "Just a reminder, class- the project is due on the day after tomorrow, so you had better be almost done. Today we will be working more on Water Alchemy. Please open your textbooks to page 67."
Fuyushi opened his textbook and looked up. Yurina pointed to a few bullet points on the board. "Today we will be looking at the origins of water alchemy. Does anyone already know what is the main reason that water alchemy exists? I expect everyone to know this, it is incredibly simple."
Yurina narrowed her eyes at Akinara, who raised her hand. She would not pick her, knowing that she had to get it right because she was a water alchemist. She stared expectantly at Anakira, Nana, Yumeshi, and Fuyushi.
Yurina rolled her eyes. "No crap, sherlock," she snapped sarcastically, and Fuyushi would have laughed at his teacher's use of teenage language if he hadn't seen Nana's frightened face. "Water alchemy is one of the most powerful types of alchemy because it is one of the oldest types of alchemy. In the alchemic world, age is power. Water alchemy is part of the earth, so in result it must happen. My question was, how "domesticated" water alchemy so that it was able to be used by alchemists? This question lies in the very core of alchemists themselves, so I do not expect you all to know the answer to this complicated a question. Nevertheless, do any of you know?"
Fuyushi rubbed Nana's shoulders comfortingly, and Akinara patted Nana before glaring at her brother, who drew back his arms in a flash. Yurina narrowed her eyes but continued. "Didn't think so. Now, read the first section on the origins of Water Alchemy, and look up when you're done."
Fuyushi then said, completely out of nowhere, but still correctly: "Water Alchemy was derived from Air Alchemy. Nature Alchemy formed Fire Alchemy, and together the four elements formed humans, which effectively formed Spirit Alchemy."
Yurina nodded. "You have grasped the main points of the text. Good. Your homework tonight, besides the project, will be a thousand-word essay on the founders, effectively the Mizu Specialists, of Water Alchemy. You have thirty minutes to work on that, then the remaining thirty minutes will be for your projects." Fuyushi and Akinara quickly began writing and planning out their essay.
30 minutes later, Yurina looked up from her desk. "Put your essays away, and remember that it is due with the project on the day after tomorrow as we do not have Elemental Alchemy tomorrow. Partner up if you have one and begin work on your essays." Fuyushi simply turned his table around to face Nana's. Akinara walked over to the other side of the classroom, and pulled up a chair to share her table with Anakira.
Yumeshi pulled out her poster and began to work. Nana looked up at Fuyushi and took out their poster. Anakira looked at Akinara, since she had the poster.
Fuyushi grinned at her. "I got the materials for the poster," he told her, pulling out markers, paper, pictures, and more. Akinara took out the poster as well, giving it to Anakira. "I got the materials for the poster."
Fuyushi scooted his chair over to her and inspected the project with her. "Should we finish the other sections in pencil first or outline this in marker first?"
Five minutes later, Yurina looked up at the clock and saw that it was time for class to end. "The class has ended. Remember that if the project and your other homework is not due on friday, you will receive one-on-one detention with me at my office at 9:00pm for two months." She purposely chose the free time that students had after the last period.
Fuyushi made himself not wince at the thought, and Akinara scooted back in her seat a little. Yurina narrowed her eyes at all of them in their seats. "What are you still doing here? Get out of my classroom!" She snapped. Fuyushi quickly stood up, pulling Anakira and Nana with him. Akinara squeaked and stood up as well.
Haruki and Takupi went in. Akinara was clutching Anakira, trying to heal his leg with water, which wasn't exactly working, only disinfecting the wound.
Akinara shrugged. "Nothing bad. Just take care of him, please," she pleaded, and Haruki nodded curtly. "Don't worry. We'll heal your shadow boy." Akinara ignored Haruki's jibe and took off her shirt to wrap it around Anakira's leg to soak up the blood.
Takupi nodded. The wound had stopped bleeding. He poured more of the elixir into the boy's mouth. "That should be enough for now," he said. "But we should get down to the hospital wing." Anakira looked around, his vision clearing.
Akinara leaned over him, staring down at him, her blond hair falling like a waterfall around her face. "Are you okay?" She asked, worried for her friend.
Akinara shook her head. "She's dead, that's it. Stop worrying about her, because she's not going to suddenly change." She stood up and turned to Haruki. "Take him to the hospital wing. Now," Akinara ordered. The chemical alchemist narrowed her eyes but nodded and lifted Anakira, carrying him to the wing. Akinara had scrapes and cuts all over her body but she decided that she would be okay and would help with healing and patrolling the school for danger.
Yurina stood at the front of the classroom, arranging her desk as she waited for her class to arrive.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi walked into the room, a patch of sunlight following her.
ReplyDeleteYurina glanced at her.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi flipped the pages and looked at the alchemy circles on the page. She looked at all of the diagrams and waited for further instructions.
ReplyDeleteAkinara did the same and looked at her teacher.
ReplyDelete(dunno what to teach)
(just make it up)
ReplyDeleteNana also walked into the room and got out her book.
Yurina finally looked up from her desk. "Nana, late. Detention on saturday, 3pm-5pm. Now, please read pages 53-55 and take notes. I will stop you in 30 minutes."
ReplyDeleteNana started to frantically write down notes. Yumeshi did the same.
ReplyDeleteYurina spoke up. "Stop. Your time is up. As this is the first lesson of the year, we will not be doing actual alchemy. However, I'd like you all to come up to the board and write one essential thing about Water Alchemy. Yumeshi, you're up."

ReplyDeleteAkinara looked disappointed that they weren't going to do her favorite subject, water alchemy.
ReplyDeleteYurina read the words. "Important, but not essential. Yoshimizu, your turn."
Nana walked up to the board. "Water alchemy is very hard to control, because most users need total self discipline, which is very hard to accomplish. Only the most successful alchemists have succeeded in this type of alchemy."
ReplyDelete"Only the first sentence is necessary." Yurina's expression showed nothing. "Natsuko."

Yurina nodded. "Yoshimizu and Natsuko have pointed out the essential factors of water alchemy. Sanjo was close. When we start doing water alchemy, what we need to focus on is CONTROL. Control the water, concentrate, overpower it."
Nana and Yumeshi stared up intently at Yurina. Just then, Professor Mustang (Yuzuru) walked into the room. "Mind if I watch this class?"
ReplyDeleteYurina looked at Yuzuru. "Of course, Headmaster," she said, then turned back to the class. "Just to check if you were listening- Sanjo, what did I say was key to Water Alchemy?"
ReplyDeleteYumeshi scrunched up her eyebrows. "Having total self control?" she guessed.
ReplyDelete"And control over the water," Yurina added. "Yoshimizu, what would you think is one method to have that total control?"
ReplyDeleteNana looked up. "Erm...you must concentrate on the water only, I guess...."
ReplyDeleteMustang looked around, surveying the class.
Yurina sighed. "You must have the want, the EMOTION in you, and the determination, and the concentration. It must all be put into the water."
ReplyDeleteNana lowered her head in disappointment.
ReplyDeleteYurina looked at her watch. "We have 30 minutes left. Natsuko! What do you think is the connection between water alchemy and the other elemental alchemy's?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara, startled, looked up. "Er... they're all elemental alchemy? And... they all require extreme concentration?"

ReplyDeleteAkinara began planning out her essay and reports, then begin writing her report.
Yurina walked over to where Yuzuru was. "Hello, Yuzuru. What did you think?"
Yuzuru closed his eyes for a moment. "They seemed rather frightened," he commented.
ReplyDelete"Your point?" Kasumi narrowed her eyes at the Headmaster.
ReplyDeleteYuzuru opened his eyes. "Maybe we shouldn't be so much like a military academy. We should be...well, more kindly. There will be no more students if we force the facts into them."
ReplyDelete"I did not force facts into them, Professor. I merely told them, straightforward, the truth. Do you want me to lie, Headmaster? Besides, I cannot help who I am," Kasumi reasoned, keeping her voice and masking her annoyance.
ReplyDeleteYuzuru smiled. "Do what you want-" he stood up. "Ka.su.mi." And he left.
ReplyDelete(lolololololol)
(lolol wuuut? ha)
ReplyDeleteKasumi nodded, then faced the class. "Class is over, people. You may leave. Remember, Yoshimizu, detention on saturday. Put it in your notebook or planner."
Nana scribbled it down, then she left with Akinara and Yumeshi.
ReplyDelete(mustang = flirt :D)
(lol)
ReplyDelete(u wanna go to sound now? but aki won't be there, only fuyu)
Kasumi sat back in her seat, leaning back with her legs on her desk, reading a book called "Blood Bath". She waited for her class to begin.
ReplyDeleteAkinara was already there, sitting in the second row with Nana and Yumeshi. Fuyushi arrived five minutes later with Anakira. Nana looked away, her face buried in a textbook. (auggggh) Anakira nodded politely to the other girls and then sat down next to Fuyushi.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi sat next to Nana, and Anakira sat down next to him. They were in a straight line, facing Kasumi. Yurina raised an eyebrow at their unusual behavior, then stood up, pacing around in front of the camp as she spoke. "Today we will be continuing our unit in Water Alchemy. ReplyDeleteAkinara looked up at Yurina. "Uh... um, Water Alchemy require extreme control, as water is one of the more powerful of the elements."
Yurina turned her amber gaze on the stammering girl. "Correct, but the elements are generally equally powerful. Yoshimizu!"
Nana looked at the teacher. "Even though all the elements are equally powerful, fire and spirit tend to be more powerful than water, earth and earth."
ReplyDeleteYurina looked annoyed. "Didn't I just say that they were generally all equal?" She snapped. Fuyushi flinched at her sharp tone, even though it wasn't directed at him. "And it was incorrect. Spirit, air and water are the three slightly more powerful ones."
ReplyDeleteNana winced, wanting to rip the skin off Yurina's face.
ReplyDeleteYurina sighed and turned to Fuyushi. "Natsuko!" She barked. "And don't get it wrong."
ReplyDeleteFuyushi thought for a second, then replied, "Uh, water alchemy is closely related to air alchemy as there is water in air."

But of course he didn't. Only spirit alchemists would have the slightest idea... and there aren't many in the world.
ReplyDeleteAnakira thought for a moment. "Erm, you keep on concentrating your alchemy on it?"
ReplyDeleteYurina glared an icy glare. So he wasn't that smart. "Spirit alchemy affects the personality, thoughts and actions of the figure, but the water alchemy affects the strength, health, and agility of the creature." Fuyushi smirked at Anakira. So now he experienced the anger of his scariest teacher.
ReplyDeleteAnakira was silent and looked at the table.
ReplyDeleteYurina somehow had a whip in her hand. She whipped the floor, and it made a loud "CRACK". The entire class jumped. She pointed to two silver bowls, one with clear water filling it halfway. "Yoshimizu! Get up here, and show us some water alchemy. Transfer the water to the other bowl."
ReplyDeleteNana, slightly startled, got up and walked over to the two bowls. She quickly drew an alchemy circle on her hand and clapped her hands together. She pointed at the bowl with water, and the water floated up into the other bowl.
ReplyDeleteYurina walked over and inspected the work. "Sloppy but effective!" She announced, turning back to Nana. "Sit down. Sanjo, up you come!"
ReplyDeleteYumeshi stood up and did the same thing, but spilling some of the water as she did so.
ReplyDeleteYurina made a face. "You did not get all the water into the bowl. More control next time. Akinara Natsuko!" Akinara gave Yumeshi a sympathetic glance before performing it perfectly. Water alchemy was her best subject.
ReplyDeleteYurina nodded. "Good. Sit down. Fuyushi Natsuko!" Fuyushi strolled confidently to the table, and moved it over, spilling some of it as he went. The professor narrowed her eyes. "Overconfidence can lead to carelessness, which leads to underachievement. Hagimura!"
Anakira also stepped up to the table, manipulating the water into the other bowl.
ReplyDeleteYurina nodded. "Alright, sit down. Open your textbooks to page 57 of your textbooks. There is a quiz on water alchemy. Do that, and when you are done raise your hand."
ReplyDeleteAnkira, Yumeshi and Nana all sat down and started to write on a piece of paper. After a while, Nana raised her hand.
ReplyDeleteYurina went over to her. "Your score out of ten?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara was scribbling away on a piece of paper. Fuyushi did the same.
Nana glanced at the answers and then back at her paper. "10 out of 10," she said. Yumeshi and Anakira did the same, Anakira receiving 10 out of 10 and Yumeshi receiving 9 out of 10.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi received 10 out of 10, and Akinara received 10 out of 10.
ReplyDelete(lol lonely Yumeshi.)
(awwwww XD)
ReplyDeleteYumeshi was startled, but she sat back down and began to plan her poster.
Nana, also very startled, looked at Fuyushi.
Anakira looked at Akinara, trying to read her emotions.
Akinara inspected Anakira's features. Even if he had a shadowy feel, he was actually quite cute. She smiled at him. "What should we do first?"
ReplyDeleteFuyushi looked at Nana wryly. "What's wrong with the teachers?" He snorted. "Why can't I be partners with Yumeshi or something?"
Anakira thought for a moment. "We should probably find out what we should put on the poster," he suggested.
ReplyDeleteNana gazed at him with sad, eyes. "You don't want to be with me?"
And Fuyushi was blown away by her cuteness. (JK)
(lol)
ReplyDeleteAkinara gave him a look.
Anakira nodded, then cracked open his book. "We should read a little more," he suggested.
ReplyDeleteNana looked away, uncomfortable, and not sure of how to reply.
Fuyushi scooted a little closer to Nana. "Come on, you know you love me," he smirked, joking as he nudged Nana with his shoulder.
ReplyDeleteAkinara nodded. "Let's look at the whole section."
"Nyan," Nana replied slightly cheerful, and nudged him back. "So what do we do now?" (XD nana neko)
ReplyDeleteAnakira started to scan the page.
Fuyushi leaned on Nana for a moment, then opened his textbook. "So what should we choose to put on the poster? I was thinking little sections for different subjects."
ReplyDeleteNana nodded. "We should read more," she said.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi was reading.
Fuyushi nodded, and continued reading. Akinara nodded to Anakira. "You done?"
ReplyDeleteAnakira quickly finished and nodded.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi looked up. "You done, Nana?" He asked, looking over her shoulder.
ReplyDeleteAkinara had a thoughtful face. "Hm, so where should we start?"
Nana nodded slightly.
ReplyDeleteAnakira thought for a moment. "We need to divide the poster into sections."
Yumeshi kept on reading.
Fuyushi took out a piece of paper. "Okay, say this is the poster. How should we do it?" He looked at Nana with green eyes for any ideas.
ReplyDeleteAkinara was interested. She hadn't thought of that. "Really? What should they be for?"
Nana stared back at him with red. "We need to divide it into parts," she said.
ReplyDeleteAnakira looked at her. "We need a section for every topic on water alchemy," he explained. "How do you think we should divide it?"
Fuyushi nodded, breaking the stare. "Okay. So let's think about what sections we need. We need the basics, obviously, diagrams, famous alchemists, and so on. Any ideas?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara agreed. "We should to the section for topic thing. Let's start brainstorming for what topics there should be."
Nana nodded and thought for a moment. "How about the process as well?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara concurred. He began to write out topics on a piece of paper.
Fuyushi nodded, writing it down as well. "We should do research on that for now, even if we still have other ideas."
ReplyDeleteAkinara looked over his shoulder. "What about famous alchemists and diagrams? Perhaps we could have a 'water alchemy today' and a 'the history of water alchemy' section."
Nana nodded, and brought out another piece of paper.
ReplyDeleteAnakira nodded, then looked at their paper. "I think that's enough for now," he said. "We can think of more later."
Akinara nodded her agreement just as Yurina looked up from her book. "Class is over, people!" She announced, standing up. "You may leave now."
ReplyDeleteFuyushi stood up with Nana. When she got out of her seat to go, he grabbed her elbow. "Uh, hey. Do you want to go to Callie's Coffee with me on saturday? So we can study for the poster project thing?"
(It's friday)
Nana nodded slowly and left with Yumeshi.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi grinned after her, then walked out of the room. Yurina glared at his back. He'd better not try anything with that girl.
ReplyDeleteAkinara caught up with Nana. "What was he saying to you?"
Nana looked away and mumbled something about cafes.
ReplyDeleteAkinara took a moment to figure it out. "He wants to take you to the cafe?" She asked, incredulous. She looked at Yumeshi to see if she already knew.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi shrugged, and the three girls arrived at the dorms.
ReplyDeleteKasumi Yurina sat at the front of the class, sharpening a dagger with air and nature alchemy as she waited for her class to arrive.
ReplyDeleteNana walked in with Yumeshi and Akinara. A few seconds later, Anakira came in with Fuyushi.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi grinned at Nana and sat down beside her, motioning for Anakira to sit next to him.
ReplyDeleteAnakira sat down next to Fuyushi and opened his textbook. Nana and Yumeshi did the same. (except they didnt sit next to fuyushi. well, nana did.)
ReplyDelete(yeah)
ReplyDeleteFuyushi opened his textbook and looked up. Yurina pointed to a few bullet points on the board. "Today we will be looking at the origins of water alchemy. Does anyone already know what is the main reason that water alchemy exists? I expect everyone to know this, it is incredibly simple."
Nana looked away while Yumeshi looked down. Anakira started to think of an answer.
ReplyDeleteYurina narrowed her eyes at Akinara, who raised her hand. She would not pick her, knowing that she had to get it right because she was a water alchemist. She stared expectantly at Anakira, Nana, Yumeshi, and Fuyushi.
ReplyDeleteAnakira continued to think, unsure of what to say. Nana raised her hand timidly. "Erm....because of the appearance of water in nature?" she squeaked.
ReplyDelete(XD)
(lol)
ReplyDeleteYurina rolled her eyes.
Nana slid backwards in her chair and was silent. Yumeshi looked down at her in sympathy. Anakira was silent.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi rubbed Nana's shoulders comfortingly, and Akinara patted Nana before glaring at her brother, who drew back his arms in a flash. Yurina narrowed her eyes but continued. "Didn't think so. Now, read the first section on the origins of Water Alchemy, and look up when you're done."
ReplyDeleteNana narrowed her eyes and began to read. Yumeshi read as well and Anakira began to read too.
ReplyDeleteAkinara and Fuyushi began to read. After a while, Akinara looked up, and Fuyushi glanced up right afterwards.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi and Nana's heads both snapped up. Anakira followed suit.
ReplyDeleteYurina nodded. "Right, one by one, all of you tell me what you learned in this order: Yumeshi, Akinara, Nana, Fuyushi, and Anakira."
ReplyDeleteYumeshi looked up. "Water alchemy was first discovered by Hanonzo Hinimari, who Tim Marcoh was a descendant of," she said.
ReplyDeleteAkinara lead on: "It was then "tamed" by a group of alchemists, and the leader of that was Nazomiyo Chikuuyi."
ReplyDeleteNana opened her eyes. "That group was later known to be the 'Mizu Specialists' and they descended for a long time, then mysteriously disappeared."
ReplyDeleteFuyushi then said, completely out of nowhere, but still correctly: "Water Alchemy was derived from Air Alchemy. Nature Alchemy formed Fire Alchemy, and together the four elements formed humans, which effectively formed Spirit Alchemy."
ReplyDeleteEveryone stared at him. Then Anakira said, "After a while, people uncovered the secrets of the Mizu Specialists and water alchemy was used once more."
ReplyDeleteYurina nodded. "You have grasped the main points of the text. Good. Your homework tonight, besides the project, will be a thousand-word essay on the founders, effectively the Mizu Specialists, of Water Alchemy. You have thirty minutes to work on that, then the remaining thirty minutes will be for your projects."
ReplyDeleteFuyushi and Akinara quickly began writing and planning out their essay.
(YAYYY WEVE FINALLY BEEN COMPLIMENTED)
ReplyDeleteNana quickly began to scribble. Yumeshi planned and Anakira planned.
(....)
30 minutes later, Yurina looked up from her desk. "Put your essays away, and remember that it is due with the project on the day after tomorrow as we do not have Elemental Alchemy tomorrow. Partner up if you have one and begin work on your essays."
ReplyDeleteFuyushi simply turned his table around to face Nana's.
Akinara walked over to the other side of the classroom, and pulled up a chair to share her table with Anakira.
Yumeshi pulled out her poster and began to work. Nana looked up at Fuyushi and took out their poster. Anakira looked at Akinara, since she had the poster.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi grinned at her. "I got the materials for the poster," he told her, pulling out markers, paper, pictures, and more.
ReplyDeleteAkinara took out the poster as well, giving it to Anakira. "I got the materials for the poster."
Nana nodded, staring down at them. Anakira nodded. "Thanks," he said. Yumeshi felt lonely...
ReplyDelete(lol sry yumeshi)
ReplyDeleteFuyushi quickly drew out the sections with a pencil. "Here, you write the origins one with a pencil, I'll write the famous alchemists."
Akinara handed Anakira the materials.
Nana nodded and began to think, then she began to write.
ReplyDeleteAnakira nodded. "OK, so what should we do? We have everything planned out, so I guess we should start writing....."
(:))
Fuyushi began to write about famous alchemists, which he had planned last night.
ReplyDeleteAkinara nodded. "You do the interesting facts. I'll do origins. Use a pencil first, okay?"
Anakira nodded and picked up a pencil, then began to write.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi wrote.
Fuyushi finished and looked up at Nana, watching her dark red eyes move with her pencil as she wrote.
ReplyDeleteNana looked up at him.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi smiled at her. "You done?"
ReplyDeleteNana nodded.
ReplyDeleteYumeshi wrote.
Fuyushi kept on staring, a small smile forming on his lips.
ReplyDeleteAkinara looked up after a while.
Nana looked at him strangely.
ReplyDeleteAnakira looked at the other girl. "Done?" he asked.
Fuyushi shook himself out of his gaze and then grinned brightly at her. "Just staring at how beautiful you are," he smirked.
ReplyDeleteAkinara nodded mutely.
Nana narrowed her eyes slightly.
ReplyDeleteAnakira noticed her change of mood. "Do you want to work on famous alchemists together now? It might be a little hard."
Fuyushi sighed and propped his head on his hand and stared at her. "Just let me have some fun, okay?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara shrugged. "Whatever," she said, and took out her pencil again.
Nana looked back down at the project.
ReplyDeleteAnakira began to think.
Fuyushi scooted his chair over to her and inspected the project with her. "Should we finish the other sections in pencil first or outline this in marker first?"
ReplyDeleteNana thought for a moment. "Why don't we save the decorating and stuff for last?" she suggested.
ReplyDeleteHe nodded, then started on the other section. "I'll do half of the last four."
ReplyDeleteNana nodded and began to write.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi wrote as well.
ReplyDeleteAkinara began to write.
Nana shuddered inwardly but maintained a calm face. Yumeshi looked straight into the air. Anakira looked away.
ReplyDelete(:D that sounds so lame.)
(lol :D)
ReplyDeleteFuyushi made himself not wince at the thought, and Akinara scooted back in her seat a little. Yurina narrowed her eyes at all of them in their seats. "What are you still doing here? Get out of my classroom!" She snapped. Fuyushi quickly stood up, pulling Anakira and Nana with him. Akinara squeaked and stood up as well.
Nana let Fuyushi drag her. Yumeshi quickly stood up and left with Akinara.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her away with Anakira. Yurina stared after them with narrowed eyes, then went back to her work.
ReplyDeleteTakupi and Haruki walked into the room. "This looks bad," the professor muttered as he looked around.
ReplyDeleteHaruki and Takupi went in. Akinara was clutching Anakira, trying to heal his leg with water, which wasn't exactly working, only disinfecting the wound.
ReplyDeleteTakupi dashed over. "Are you OK?" he asked Akinara while he poured some of the elixir into the boy's mouth. "Any wounds?"
ReplyDeleteAkinara shrugged. "Nothing bad. Just take care of him, please," she pleaded, and Haruki nodded curtly. "Don't worry. We'll heal your shadow boy."
ReplyDeleteAkinara ignored Haruki's jibe and took off her shirt to wrap it around Anakira's leg to soak up the blood.
Takupi nodded. The wound had stopped bleeding. He poured more of the elixir into the boy's mouth. "That should be enough for now," he said. "But we should get down to the hospital wing." Anakira looked around, his vision clearing.
ReplyDeleteAkinara leaned over him, staring down at him, her blond hair falling like a waterfall around her face. "Are you okay?" She asked, worried for her friend.
ReplyDeleteAnakira looked up, a little shocked. "Uh, yeah!" he said, sitting up. "So the battle's over..." He looked over at Kana, a shadow crossing his face.
ReplyDeleteAkinara shook her head. "She's dead, that's it. Stop worrying about her, because she's not going to suddenly change." She stood up and turned to Haruki. "Take him to the hospital wing. Now," Akinara ordered.
ReplyDeleteThe chemical alchemist narrowed her eyes but nodded and lifted Anakira, carrying him to the wing. Akinara had scrapes and cuts all over her body but she decided that she would be okay and would help with healing and patrolling the school for danger.
