The promised day finally came again. This was the day that Ed, Al, Roy and all of the other people of the FullMetal universe conquered against the homunculus in the glass vial turned into God. And who knows what will happen this time?
Suddenly, the sky turned black. Clouds blocked the sun from view, darkening the whole academy. All of the students and teachers rushed out. Nana's eyes widened and she stepped towards Fuyushi in fright. Yumeshi stood next to Akinara as they both looked up at the sky. Hanashi whipped out some black cloud puppets and started to act out the scene.
Fuyushi narrowed his eyes and pulled Nana to him, making sure nothing would ever happen to her. Akinara moved towards Anakira then stopped, not sure whether she should approach him, but drew an alchemy circle around her and prepared for anything about to happen. Haruki looked down at the courtyard from the girl's dorms and floated down to them. Kasumi looked to not care, reading her book on murder in the corner. Shinama was watching Hanashi with raised eyebrows.
Hanashi grinned. Both of the Mustangs stepped out of the shadows at the end of the courtyard and looked up to the sky. Yuzuru's eyes narrowed as he looked at the gathering group of black clouds. Anakira looked over at Akinara. "It's ok," he said comfortingly, grasping her hand in his. Yumeshi padded over to Haruki.
Kasumi walked to Yuzuru's side. "What do you suspect it is, Dark Alchemist?" She murmured to him. Akinara smiled up at Anakira, scooting a little closer to him. Haruki looked up at Yumeshi and nodded, creating a gravity circle around them so that anyone inside it besides them would be gravitated outwards, away from it.
Yumeshi looked at her gratefully and produced a small light so that they could see. Mustang thought for a moment. "It's just speculation," he said quietly. "But I believe that the homunculus in the glass vial has come back and has taken over the sky."
Yuzuru narrowed his pitch-black eyes. "It wouldn't be much of a threat if it stayed by that, but if it became God again-" the ground started to shake, and the clouds gathered in one section of the sky. They fused together in what seemed like a giant ball of blackness.
Kasumi nodded. "I know." She closed her eyes and probed its spirit, and suddenly was flying backwards to slam against the wall with a thud. Her eyes shot open in shock, then anger. Akinara jumped at the thud and glanced at Yurina with concern. Fuyushi looked up from where he was standing with Nana. "What happened?" He muttered. Haruki had no reaction, just stared at the black ball.
Nana drew herself closer to Fuyushi. Anakira held Akinara's hand tighter, and Yumeshi hurried over to Yurina. The two Mustangs continued to stare at the sky, and the black ball that had formed in it. It started to morph, and was moving closer towards the ground. It almost looked like a human...
Kasumi stood up, her eyes narrowing. "He forced me out of his mind," she hissed. "It has a wall." Akinara smiled up at Anakira. Haruki watched it calmly, her black eyes cold and expressionless.
The form of black creeped onto the ground. Suddenly, there was a flash of black light and the blackness of the form peeled off, revealing a human form.
Kasumi stepped forward, opening her mouth to scream insults at it, before a hand clamped over her lips and she looked up angrily. "Get off me!" She snapped then pushed whoever it was away. Shinama glared at her. "You don't wanna get killed," he told her. "Not your problem, so shut up," Kasumi shot back, then turned back to stare at the black form. Fuyushi's eyes widened and he put Nana behind him, shielding her with his body.
Nana glared at his back but held onto his shoulders tightly. Anakira glared and put his other hand protectingly in front of Anakira. Yumeshi leaned closer towards Haruki, and Hanashi whipped out a bottle of mercury and got ready for a battle. Yuzuru narrowed his eyes and stepped forward. "Who are you?" he demanded in a quiet but firm voice.
Haruki stared calmly at them, the expression on her face slightly bored. Was nothing going to happen? The black form smiled at Yuzuru, and made to step towards him before a blast of air stopped him momentarily. Akinara and Kasumi were both glaring at him after they had created a quick change of air pressure between them both, making an effective forcefield. The form then smiled at both of them. Fuyushi rolled his eyes. "Dude, stop grinning like an idiot," he called out to the form.
The form padded towards, ignoring Fuyushi and going closer and closer to the school. Suddenly, he whipped his hand up, and Nana, Anakira, Haruki and Yurina dropped to the floor, their souls being whipped out from them.
Kasumi hissed as she worked in the corner to retransfer the spirits back in to their bodies. Fuyushi was suddenly over the form's body, a knife at his throat. "Leave Nana alone, you *********!" He screamed in its face. "You get her soul back to her, or you won't have a ******** head in two seconds, ***************!" Akinara was glaring at the form, standing over Anakira protectively, wind beginning to whirl around her.
The figure looked down at Fuyushi with a bored expression on its face. He batted him away effortlessly. Yumeshi screamed and charged toward it. Yuzuru quickly stopped with a shadow. "Don't," he said. "It's pointless. We need another strategy."
Akinara was not able to be seen in her white whirlwind of... wind. Fuyushi was suddenly looking pissed with a bunch of stone soldier surrounding him. Kasumi restored Haruki, then began working on Nana.
Yuzuru looked at Fuyushi with an expressionless face. "You must learn not to avenge right away," he said. "You can't do it now, but when the time is right, you can."
Kasumi returned Nana's spirit to her body, then began work on Anakira. Fuyushi just glared at Yuzuru once more and walked over to Nana, the hardness in his face gone as he looked down at her. "Are you okay?" He asked, concerned, after giving her a hug. Akinara was lifting into the sky, the air around her pulsing silver.
Nana, panting, leaned into Fuyushi and looked up worriedly at the figure. Yuzuru looked over at Kana and nodded. She took out her heat-sensitive gloves and snapped. A wave of fire hurled itself at the figure. Yuzuru backed it up with a barricade of shadows.
Fuyushi wrapped his arms around Nana protectively while his stone soldiers pummeled the figure with large rocks. (LOL CHARZARD!!!) Akinara shot blasts after blasts of overwhelming wind, water, and fire at the figure, while Haruki shot millions of tiny poison needles filled with ricin and strychnine.
When the smoke cleared, the figure was standing there, with a big hole in its chest, eyes widened in shock. Yuzuru looked over at the students. "Fight with him if you wish!" he called. Nana gripped Fuyushi tightly. "Be careful," she said cautiously to him. Anakira looked at Akinara. "I'm going to fight, OK?" (Fight = hand to hand combat)
Fuyushi nodded at Nana. "I will. Stay back, and call when you need me." He detached himself from the other sound alchemist and race over to the figure, pulling out a switchblade as he did so. Akinara looked up at Anakira with angry green eyes. "And you don't think I'm not?" She snapped, and sprang forward herself, sprinting over to her brother. "Hello, brother!" She called to Fuyushi as she swung a punch at the figure. Fuyushi's eyes widened. "What are you doing here?" "Teaching this ***** a lesson!" Akinara replied, smirking as she kicked it in the face. Fuyushi looked undecided for a second, then smiled back at her. "That's my little sis," he grinned, and launched himself into the figure as well.
Anakira took out a katana made completely from darkness. Nana lingered behind, scared. Yumeshi turned to Haruki. "Are you going to fight?" The teachers stood at the side. Yuzuru looked over at Kana. "Don't interrupt unless they're in a bad situation," he said. "Let them learn."
Haruki seemed to consider this for a moment, then smirked. "Ya think?" She raised an eyebrow and raced forward, poisoned dagger in hand. Akinara was currently shooting elemental arrows at the being, ranging from spirit, fire, water, air, and earth. Fuyushi's knife was made of the strongest minerals and stones in the world, therefore making it almost indestructible unless it was put in contact with extreme heat.
Kasumi looked up at Yuzuru. "Of course. It's not like they're going to learn if we fight for them. Let them get injured. Let them get hurt. That's how you really learn." She glared at Kana's surprised face. "What? It's not like a few broken bones will really hurt them." Tsutoko sighed at Kasumi. "You may be right, but we still have to help them if the situation gets dire." "Whatever, Toko," Kasumi muttered.
The teachers observed. Yumeshi's knees were shaking, and she was trying to walk over to Nana. Nana's eyes were dark with worried and widened whenever there was a sound of swords clashing against each other of a yell of pain from a student. Suddenly, she couldn't take in anymore. She stepped forwards, opened her mouth and....
Fuyushi's eyes widened and he immediately clapped his hands together and protected everyone's hearing as well as his own except the figure's. After it was over the figure was screaming in pain, panting, while Fuyushi stalked over to Nana. "What was that for?" He demanded, his green eyes flaring. "You almost deafened every person in the school!" Akinara immediately went in for the kill at the same time as Haruki. Akinara held the creature's head in her hands and twisted it quickly and cruelly, while Haruki stabbed a poison dagger into its heart, both of them killing it instantaneously.
Nana glared at him for the first time, her face so fierce that it scared Yumeshi away. Then she turned away. Yuzuru looked at the students. "Well," he said. "That was promised day!" Anakira padded over to Akinara. "You did great!" he said to her.
Fuyushi sighed, and put a hand on her shoulder. "Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you, but I just think you should have protected the others before you attacked the shadow dude," he told Nana. Akinara looked up at Anakira and shrugged. "I did what anybody else would have done," she replied. "Are you hurt?" She asked, looking more concerned. Haruki, seeing that it was over, pulled her dagger out of the figure, wiped it on her dirty black jacket and sheathed it, walking back silently to the main building of the school, pausing only to glance at Fuyushi and Akinara talk to Nana and Anakira with expressionless eyes.
Nana looked irritated, and she slapped away Fuyushi's hand. "Think before you act," she said rather coldly. Anakira shook his head and looked at her. "Are you OK?" Yuzuru thought for a moment. "It was almost certainly the homunculus in the glass vial," he said. "It looked just like the description in Riza's documentary.
Fuyushi raised an eyebrow at Nana's words. "Tell that to yourself," he shot back, crossing his arms. "I'm the one who saved our academy's ears, not the one that attempted to deafen them." Akinara nodded. "A couple scratches, but I'll be fine." Kasumi looked thoughtful. "Could it be a replica? Or a reincarnation?"
Fuyushi stared after Nana and sighed. He looked like he was going to go after her, but he stopped and instead walked towards Yumeshi. "Hey, Yumeshi," he called. Akinara looked up at Anakira and smiled shyly. "Do you wanna have some lunch? I'm hungry."
Yumeshi looked at the other male and nodded politely. "Sure," Anakira said with a smile on his face. "Let's go!" Yuzuru sighed as the students went of and proceeded to fix the broken gates and structures.
Fuyushi gave Yumeshi a confused look. "What?" He shook his head. "Whatever. Look, can I talk to you later? After lunch." Akinara gave Anakira a huge grin and went ahead to drag him into the building.
Fuyushi sauntered up to Nana who was reading quietly in the corner of the Courtyard. "Hey."
ReplyDeleteNana nodded politely. "Promised day...." she muttered, her voice wavering, as no one knew what would happen on this promised day.
ReplyDeleteFuyushi nodded, leaning back on the wall beside her. "Yeah. Wonder what'll happen?" He grinned at her.

ReplyDeleteFuyushi stared after Nana and sighed. He looked like he was going to go after her, but he stopped and instead walked towards Yumeshi. "Hey, Yumeshi," he called. Akinara looked up at Anakira and smiled shyly. "Do you wanna have some lunch? I'm hungry."

(Oh, okay. LOL)
ReplyDeleteFuyushi stood there, looking more confused. "So was that a yes or a no?" He muttered to himself, striding back into the academy.
